(Application of Terms and Conditions)

The Company shall rent out automobiles (hereinafter referred to as "rental cars") to the borrower (including the driver, hereinafter the same) in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, and the borrower shall rent them accordingly. Matters not stipulated in these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by laws, regulations, or general customs.

The Company may agree to special provisions to the extent that they do not contradict the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, laws, or general customs. In the event that special provisions are agreed upon, such provisions shall take precedence.
